George Lucas to receive Art Directors Guild award
The 'Star Wars' creator will accept the Outstanding Contribution to Cinematic Imagery award in a 2009 ceremony. The Art Directors Guild today announced that innovative producer-director George Lucas, who gave the world the "Star Wars" and " Indiana Jones" franchises, is the recipient of its 2008 Outstanding Contribution to Cinematic Imagery award.
